Summary:
The Database Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for implementing Tampa Bay Lightning, Tampa Bay Storm, Tampa Bay Times Forum database marketing initiatives. This position will be primarily responsible for delivering content to and increasing audience engagement via e-mail and text mediums. The Database Marketing Coordinator will also be responsible for contributing to the overall department goals of growing the fan base, enhancing the service and value provided to customers and growing revenue.

Responsibilities:


    Design, schedule, and execute all database marketing initiatives, including, but not limited to email and text
    Copy writing, layout, set-up, testing, deployment, monitoring and reporting of e-mail campaigns
    Maintain the email and text marketing content calendar
    Maintain, enhance and grow all customer databases
    Secure, maintain, analyze, and mine data pertaining to database marketing initiatives
    Assist in the development of sales campaign strategies and tactics through an understanding of the database and available marketing resources
    Develop revenue generation opportunities through data segmentation and database knowledge
    Lead management, database hygiene and data append initiatives
    Actively pursue existing and new data collection methods through all outlets available, ensuring standardization and accuracy in which that data is collected and stored

    Stay abreast of industry trends and digital advancements, especially within the sports and entertainment.
    Track performance of Social Media marketing programs on an on-going basis to establish best practices, while comparing against internal and industry benchmarks.
    Research, plan and propose and tactics for social networks (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google Plus, YouTube, Instagram, Tumblr and other emerging platforms).
