JOB SUMMARY

The graphic designer position requires creativity, strong drive, attention to detail and the ability to work well in a team environment. This position works closely with Partnership Development and Activation team members and must be able to collaborate on projects, take direction and manage workload in a timely manner. The primary responsibility of this position is creating sponsorship proposal decks and therefore focuses heavily on InDesign and photoshop skills. The ideal candidate would demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects from inception to completion in a fast-paced environment and have a working knowledge of sports partnerships and activation platforms. The Amalie Arena is Tampa’s premier entertainment venue. Home to the National Hockey League’s Tampa Bay Lightning and the Arena Football League’s Tampa Bay Storm, the arena hosts the nation’s top musical acts, family shows, and collegiate athletic events.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

  • Design Partnership Development proposals and recaps as primary design role
  • Work closely with Partnership Development & Activation team throughout proposal creating process from beginning of proposal drafts to final printing
  • Ability to write copy; precise proofing of all materials
  • Meet deadlines and deliverables on time
  • Capable of working on multiple projects at a given time and execute quickly

Lightning Vision- Motion Graphics Assistant (Part-Time) - Tampa Bay Lightning (Tampa, FL)

JOB SUMMARY

The Motion Graphics Assistant will collaborate with Lightning Vision personnel to assist in fulfilling the department’s motion graphics production requests, inclusive of the execution of the event presentation/display system requirements for Tampa Bay Lightning and Tampa Bay Storm games and other Amalie Arena events.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the graphic animation content production for Lightning Vision Productions and internal Amalie Arena displays.  This includes all Tampa Bay Lightning and Tampa Bay Storm home games, and all sponsor and occasional third-party event requests for these services.
  • Creation, editing and production of most Lightning Vision graphic animations as directed – either as fully inclusive features and or as elements to be incorporated by other editors/producers
    • Major focus is the design and creation of animated content intended to be showcased on the Lightning Vision center hung display, all LED system display; Video Walls; Exterior Projector and internal IPTV Channels
    • Collaborate on the design and creation of player/team/sponsor branded images/animations for in-arena displays: player headshots, logos, interstitials, fan prompts, feature opens and elements, etc.
    • Present work to supervisors for approval

§  Possible In-Game Lightning Vision Crew responsibility will be TBD by Director of Production Systems and VP, Game Presentation.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • College education, BA or equivalent, plus a minimum of one (1) year experience as a graphic designer/animator
  • Should have animation creation experience.  Creative and artistic skills for design and layout   
  • Solid knowledge and a minimum of 2 years experience with the following software:  After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro (preferred) editing software
  • Basic growth-oriented knowledge of 3-D software (Cinema 4D) a plus

JOB SUMMARY

The Video Production Assistant serves as a video content producer for Lightning Vision productions - this includes all Tampa Bay Lightning and Tampa Bay Storm home games at Amalie Arena; and, all internal and occasional third-party events at Amalie Arena requiring these services.

Job Summary:

The Premium Events Coordinator is responsible for planning and executing all premium events occurring at Amalie Arena. They will be required to work closely with all departments in order to coordinate meetings, hospitality events and shows.   • Set-up and execute street hockey clinics within the Tampa Bay Area and surrounding communities. These clinics will be held at Schools, YMCA’s, Boys and Girls Clubs, and other youth based facilities.

  • Communicate with the location on-site to ensure proper set-up.
  • Lead the introductory presentation to students going over the basics of hockey.

ABOUT USF ATHLETICS:

USF Athletics sponsors 19 varsity men’s and women’s teams that compete in 11 different sports, 18  competing at the NCAA Division I level in the American Athletic Conference. The Bulls’ athletic program celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2015, having started with a men’s soccer contest in 1965. Nearly 500 student-athletes train and compete in the athletic district located on the east end of Tampa campus. The Bulls have claimed nine conference titles in the American Athletic Conference since 2013. JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for the sale and distribution of event tickets at the box office for all games, shows and events. Employees are personally accountable for a daily $200 cash bank and as well assisting guests in the selection of seats for events and games.
