Corporate Sales Account Manager - Tampa Bay Lightning (Tampa, FL)

JOB SUMMARY

The Corporate Sales Account Manager is responsible for the sale of new season tickets, group accounts, mini plans, and premium seating via phone, email marketing, face to face presentations, in-arena tours, and out-of-office appointments to the local corporate market. They are also responsible for generating new ideas to increase ticket sales revenue.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for maximizing revenue through the sale of season tickets, mini plans, group tickets, and executive suite sales

  • Prospect for new business on a daily basis through cold calling, networking, appointment setting, and referrals

  • Utilize and create effective sales contacts

  • Use proactive tactics to create opportunities for new business with existing customers

  • Develop database for Sales and Services by maintaining complete and accurate customer records

  • Perform daily operations and service of all existing accounts

  • Assist in the coordination of sales promotions

  • Provide excellent customer service

  • Must meet or exceed all predetermined activity and sales goals.

  • Represent the Tampa Bay Lightning and develop lasting relationships at community events

  • Perform sales functions during Tampa Bay Lightning and Tampa Bay Storm home games

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Previous corporate sales experience preferred

  • Prior sports industry experience preferred

  • Effective time management skills

  • Ability to handle multiple projects at once

  • Excellent communication/presentation skills

  • Ticketmaster, Archtics, Microsoft Excel, and Word experience a plus

  • Must be self-motivated, innovative, and a team player

  • Passion for sales and creativity

  • Desire to be the best at what you do while working in a team environment

Part-time 50/50 Raffler Sellers - Tampa Bay Lightning (Tampa, FL)

JOB SUMMARY

This position values guests and is committed to providing a positive impression with World Class Service.  This position requires an outgoing personality while selling 50/50 raffle tickets to fans in and outside the arena before and during Lightning hockey games. This position requires interaction with a large number of guests, and positive representation of the organization as a brand ambassador.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES           

  • Sell, handle and distribute 50/50 Raffle tickets to fans at the arena during and prior to Lightning hockey games

  • Speak to a large number of fans each game

  • Use mobile handheld or stationary device and printers for the sale of 50/50 Raffle tickets

  • Accurately handle cash from ticket sales and turn it in to the Coordinator at the end of the night

  • Explain the details and rules of the 50/50 Raffle to fans

  • Represent the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Foundation as brand ambassadors

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be at least 18 years old

  •  Compliance with our company policy of Background Checks and Drug Screening

  • Must be prompt and organized

  • Must have excellent customer service and strong verbal communication skills

  • Must demonstrate a positive attitude when interacting with fans

  • Must be able to work a minimum of 70% of the Tampa Bay Lightning’s home games (October-May)

  • Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays, if necessary

  • Must be willing to work at least 4 hour shifts

Manager of Storm Football & Concert Events - Tampa Bay Storm (Tampa, FL)

Summary

The Manager of Storm Football & Concert Events is responsible for managing a team to reach organizational Storm new business, group and renewal goals as well as Amalie Arena event group sales goals, while achieving their own individual sales goals.  The Manager will work in tandem with the Director of Group Sales to formulate and execute yearly Storm and Concert Event sales strategies and business plans. This position requires daily communication with the Director of Group Sales as well as their team of Storm Football & Concert Event Executives.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage Storm Football & Concert Events team to achieve organizational & personal goals
  • Responsible for maximizing revenue through the sale of Storm season tickets, groups, renewals, lofts, and Amalie Arena groups and lofts
  • Provide feedback and weekly reporting for all sales and productivity levels to Director of Group Sales
  • Develop business plans and sales strategies for Storm football and Amalie Arena events
  • Lead weekly team meetings and conduct yearly performance reviews of Storm Football and Concert Event Executives
  • Assist with inventory management, departmental expense budget, and sales & communication strategies for Storm football and Concert Event Executives and department as a whole
  • Manage team use of CRM pipeline, touch point and record keeping
  • Oversee team sales campaigns, prospecting, appointment setting, and touch point efforts
  • Perform daily operations and service of all existing accounts
  • Provide world-class customer service
  • Must meet all predetermined activity and sales goals.
  • Represent Storm Football and Amalie Arena in positive manner in the Tampa Bay community
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years relevant experience in customer service and/or sales performing the essential duties listed above
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point), Ticketmaster Archtics & Host systems, and Social Media
  • Ability to strategize and forecast future results using data and analytics
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Creative and enthusiastic daily approach
  • Positive attitude and team player
  • Ability to work extended hours including some holidays and weekends
