50/50 Ticket Seller - Tampa Bay Lightning (Tampa, FL)

Lightning Foundation 50/50 Raffle Seller- Game Day Seasonal Staff- Tampa Bay Lightning (Tampa, FL)
Position Summary: The Tampa Bay Lightning and the Lightning Foundation are looking for high-energy, motivated, and reliable individuals to join our 50/50 Raffle staff as sellers for the 2014-2015 season.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Sell 50/50 Raffle tickets to fans at the arena during pre-game and in-game
  • Speak to a large number of fans each game
  • Use mobile handheld or stationary device and printers for the sale of 50/50 Raffle tickets
  • Accurately handle cash from ticket sales and turn it in to the Coordinator at the end of the night
  • Explain the details and rules of the 50/50 Raffle to fans
  • Represent the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Foundation as brand ambassadors
  • Minimum Qualifications Required:
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be prompt and arrive to games on time
  • Must have excellent customer service skills
  • Must demonstrate a positive attitude when interacting with fans
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 15 of the Tampa Bay Lightning’s 41 home games (October-May)
  • Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays, if necessary
  • Must be willing to work at least 4 hour shifts

Sales & Marketing: Event Operations/Management
Event Marketing Director - Tampa Bay Lightning (Tampa, FL)

JOB SUMMARY

 The Event Marketing Director is responsible for marketing all concerts, events, and family shows at the Tampa Bay Times Forum. The Event Marketing Director works closely with the Event Marketing Coordinator and Interns ensuring tasks are completed and on time.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 · Create and execute marketing plans.

· Consistently create agendas for and run weekly Event Marketing meetings based on goals created with VP of Booking.

· Monitor standard operating procedures in Event Marketing Department on weekly basis with VP of Booking.

· Negotiate and place television, radio, and print buys for concerts and events.

· Maintain and prepare reconciliations for media placements for each show.

· Secure and schedule local media promotions for shows.

· Coordinate press conferences for shows and events where needed.

· Seek out publicity opportunities, appearances, and interviews when applicable.

· Create digital content for e-marketing with the CRM Marketing Manager.

· Work with Ticketmaster to develop and schedule online and email campaigns.

· Oversee representation of concerts and events in-arena, including production of signs and displays.

· Work with the Sports Marketing Director and Game Operations to schedule in-game promotions for concerts and events.

· Monitor ticket, restaurant, and parking sales on a daily basis and adapt marketing initiatives accordingly.

· Collaborate with sponsorship department to obtain show sponsors and fulfill contract elements once secured.

· Handle media on show days and provide reviewers with all information needed.

· Assist with Meet and Greets at shows where necessary.

· Maintain strong relationship with media, advertising account representatives, and promoters.

· Seek most competitive advertising contracts with media outlets.

· Monitor advertising expenditure and trade accounts ensuring maximum Return on Investment.

· Ensure the Tampa Bay Times Forum brand and organization is represented in keeping with brand identity.

· Allocate and supervise responsibilities of Event Marketing Coordinator & Intern.

· Work well with Tampa Bay Lightning Sports Marketing team, finding synergies in website and social marketing calendars/postings.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 · Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of marketing experience

· Strong negotiation and communication skills

· Ability to manage multiple projects in accordance with deadlines

· Management experience and strong leadership skills

· Experience with venue marketing, venue branding, and revenue reporting

· Experience creating social and digital media content, as well as promotional and advertising content

· Experience working in entertainment marketing and public relations

Sales & Marketing: Game Operations/Presentation
Lightning Vision Trainee- Motion Graphics - Tampa Bay Lightning (Tampa, FL)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Learn from and collaborate with Lightning Vision personnel to assist in fulfilling the department’s motion graphics production requests, inclusive of the execution of the event presentation/display system requirements for Tampa Bay Lightning and Tampa Bay Storm games and other Tampa Bay Times Forum events.
  • Assist Motion Graphics Coordinators on design template projects.
  • Assist in the preparation of game-day graphic elements as directed for the variety of the facility’s LED and HD displays.
  • Assist in the organization of files including the organization of source materials.
  • Potential to serve on game day production crew.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • A degree (or pursuing a degree) in graphic arts and/or graphic animation.
  • Experience with non-linear editing systems, ideally Adobe Creative Suite 5 or 6 (Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects and Soundbooth)
  • Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator; Encore and other 3D Graphics (such as Cinema 4D) software a plus.
  • Knowledge of NHL Hockey & Arena Football is preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to assist with multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Position requires flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and some late nights as dictated by game & event schedules and accompanying pre-production.

Account Representative- Tampa Bay Lightning - Tampa Bay Lightning (Tampa, FL)

Job Summary:
The Account Representative is responsible for the sale of new season ticket memberships, group accounts, mini plans, and premium seating via phone, email marketing, face-to-face presentations, in-arena tours, and out-of-office appointments. They are also responsible for generating and implementing new and creative ideas to increase ticket sales revenue.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maximizing revenue through the sale of season ticket memberships, mini plans, group tickets, and executive suite sales.
  • Prospect for new business on a daily basis through cold calling, networking, appointment setting, and referrals.
  • Utilize and create effective sales contacts.
  • Use proactive tactics to create opportunities for new business and with existing customers.
  • Develop database for Sales and Services by maintaining complete and accurate customer records.
  • Perform daily operations and service of all existing accounts.
  • Assist in the coordination of sales promotions.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Must meet or exceed all predetermined activity and sales goals.
  • Represent the Tampa Bay Lightning and develop lasting relationships at community events.
  • Perform sales functions during all Tampa Bay Lightning and Tampa Bay Storm home games.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Ability to manage numerous business relationships in a professional manner.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at once.
  • Ticketmaster, Archtics, Microsoft Excel, and Word experience a plus.
  • Must demonstrate teamwork and positive attitude.
  • Passion for sales, creativity, and professionalism.
  • Desire to be the best at what you do while working in a team environment.
  • Night and weekend hours required when needed.
