Loge Service Specialist - Tampa Bay Lightning (Tampa, FL)

Job Summary:

The Loge Service Specialist will provide world class service to our loge members. This position will be the primary point of contact for all loge members and provide support to Sales personnel in all areas of business.  This position will also execute various projects and programs in order to create an exceptional loge experience.

Essential Duties & Qualifications:

  • Service loge members and prospects
  • Be present in loge area for all Amalie Arena games and events
  • Serve as primary contact on all customer service and ticket issues
  • Service accounts for all games, concerts and events, including non-hockey event responsibilities
  • Initiate proactive service programs including organizing special events
  • Responsible for communicating concert/event notifications and information
  • Process, print and distribute all loge tickets
  • Work closely with sales staff to service clients and prospects
  • Take the lead on new client onboarding and advise on renewal process
  • Compile and track specific client trends, preferences and hot buttons
  • Manage and update database
  • Handle specific event operation responsibilities for clientele and VIP’s
  • Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, and Word documents

Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in the service industry
  • Ability to work long hours including weekends and holidays
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Ability to handle all situations in a confidential and professional manner
  • Career oriented in the sports and entertainment industry
  • Exceptional work ethic and positive attitude
  • Ability to exercise discretion and make swift decisions using sound judgment
  • Highly organized, strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Knowledge of database software, such as Archtics and Microsoft CRM, is a plus, but not required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel)

Sales & Marketing: Community Relations
Foundation Coordinator - Tampa Bay Lightning (Tampa, FL)

Job Summary:

The Lightning Foundation Coordinator is responsible for the assisting and advancing the mission of the Lightning Foundation while conducting excellent community relations for the Tampa Bay Lightning and Amalie Arena. This position will report to the Senior Foundation Coordinator and the Executive Director of the Lightning Foundation and work with the Community Relations, Public Relations, and Community Hockey staff.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Organize and assist in all fundraising, events and programs conducted by the Lightning Foundation
  • Help with the outreach, reporting and paperwork for the Lightning Community Heroes program
  • Help coordinate the vendors, logistics and volunteers Bolts Family Carnival, the Foundation’s annual signature event as well as Bolt Run
  • Help plan and execute game night activities including the 50/50 Auction, 120 Auction & Raffle, and ArtSpot
  • Process donation receipts and maintain the database of incoming and outgoing donations
  • Promote and administer the Foundation’s License plate program with FL Sports Foundation
  • Help execute internal merchandise signings multiple times per year
  • Cultivate the Lightning Foundation’s relationships with charitable partners
  • Assist with the execution of sponsored community program with our community partners
  • Cultivate new community initiatives in the Tampa Bay area while actively seeking opportunities to promote and align TBSE
  • Assist Community Relations with school and arts programming as well as tickets and in-kind donations
  • Help maintain Foundation and Community Relations databases
  • Supply social media and web content
  • Support the Lightning Family Association and its endeavors

Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • An upmost professional demeanor
  • Individual must be extremely organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to work long hours, weekends and holidays while prioritizing multiple tasks in a deadline driven environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Powerpoint and Excel)
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree and 2 - 4 years of non-profit, sports, public relations or marketing experience

Sales & Marketing: Community Relations
Community Relations Coordinator - Tampa Bay Lightning (Tampa, FL)

Job Summary:

The Community Relations Coordinator is responsible for the implementation and progression of community outreach programs for the Tampa Bay Lightning, Tampa Bay Storm, and Amalie Area. This position will report to the Senior Director of Community Relations and the Executive Director of the Lightning Foundation and work closely with the Lightning Foundation, Public Relations, Hockey Operations, and Community Hockey staff.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Administer existing community programs and continue strong relationships with local charities and non-profit organizations
  • Manage and fulfill all in-kind donation requests made to the Tampa Bay Lightning and Amalie Arena
  • Maintain database and inventory in order to respond to local charity requests
  • Distribute ticket donations to local community groups and manage inventory and usage rates
  • Help coordinate the CHARGE volunteer program to help ensure organization reaches goal of 4000 volunteer hours, including the facilitation of monthly events and ALL In volunteer initiatives
  • Assist with the coordination of Game Day themes & activities
  • Assist with the coordination and interface with Lightning players, coaches, alumnus and executives at community appearances, autograph signings and events
  • Assist with the coordination of school programming and the Arena’s Celebration of the Arts event
  • Execute internal merchandise signings multiple times per year
  • Assist with Player Charity Ticket Programs
  • Assist with identification and execution of Tampa Bay Storm community efforts
  • Help maintain Community Relations and Foundation databases
  • Assist with fundraising, events and programs conducted by the Lightning Foundation, including the Bolts Family Carnival and Bolt Run
  • Support community hockey outreach and fan development activities
  • Supply social media and web content
