Event Marketing Senior Coordinator - Amalie Arena (Tampa, FL)

JOB SUMMARY

The Event Marketing Senior Coordinator is responsible for marketing all concerts, events, and family shows at Amalie Arena. The Event Marketing Senior Coordinator works closely with the V.P. of Event Booking, the Event Marketing Manager and Interns ensuring tasks are completed and on time.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and execute marketing plans.
  • Negotiate and place television, radio, and print buys for concerts and events.
  • Maintain and prepare reconciliations for media placements for each show.
  • Secure and schedule local media promotions for shows.
  • Coordinate press conferences for shows and events where needed.
  • Seek out publicity opportunities, appearances, and interviews when applicable.
  • Create digital content for e-marketing with the CRM Marketing Manager.
  • Work with Ticketmaster to develop and schedule online and email campaigns.
  • Oversee representation of concerts and events in-arena, including production of signs and displays.
  • Work with the Sports Marketing Manager and Game Operations to schedule in-game promotions for concerts and events.
  • Monitor ticket, restaurant, and parking sales on a daily basis and adapt marketing initiatives accordingly.
  • Collaborate with sponsorship department to obtain show sponsors and fulfill contract elements once secured.
  • Handle media on show days and provide reviewers with all information needed.
  • Assist with VIP parties and M&Gs at shows where necessary.
  • Maintain strong relationship with media, advertising account representatives, and promoters.
  • Seek most competitive advertising contracts with media outlets.
  • Monitor advertising expenditure and trade accounts ensuring maximum Return on Investment.
  • Ensure the Amalie Arena brand and organization is represented in keeping with brand identity.
  • Allocate and supervise responsibilities of Event Marketing intern.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of marketing experience
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in accordance with deadlines
  • Experience with venue marketing, venue branding, and revenue reporting
  • Experience creating social and digital media content, as well as promotional and advertising content
  • Experience working in entertainment marketing and public relations

SALARY

  • Salary range for the Event Marketing Senior Coordinator position is $30,000-$35,000 annually

Lightning Foundation 50/50 Raffle Seller- Game Day Seasonal Staff- Tampa Bay Lightning (Tampa, FL)
Position Summary: The Tampa Bay Lightning and the Lightning Foundation are looking for high-energy, motivated, and reliable individuals to join our 50/50 Raffle staff as sellers for the 2014-2015 season.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Sell 50/50 Raffle tickets to fans at the arena during pre-game and in-game
  • Speak to a large number of fans each game
  • Use mobile handheld or stationary device and printers for the sale of 50/50 Raffle tickets
  • Accurately handle cash from ticket sales and turn it in to the Coordinator at the end of the night
  • Explain the details and rules of the 50/50 Raffle to fans
  • Represent the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Foundation as brand ambassadors

Minimum Qualifications Required:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be prompt and arrive to games on time
  • Must have excellent customer service skills
  • Must demonstrate a positive attitude when interacting with fans
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 15 games of the Tampa Bay Lightning’s 41 regular season home games (October-May)
  • Responsible for providing own uniform of blue polo, khaki pants, and closed-toe shoes
  • Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays, if necessary
  • Must be willing to work at least 4 hour shifts
